I am a certified Sisterlocks™ Consultant, Brand Ambassador, Certified Training Associate, and microlocks specialist with over 20 years of experience in natural hair care, along with more than two decades of personally wearing and maintaining Sisterlocks. Developed by Dr. JoAnne Cornwell in 1993, Sisterlocks™ is recognized as the first natural hair locking system built on a structured curriculum and standardized interlocking methodology, setting the foundation for modern microlocking techniques used today. Since beginning my formal Sisterlocks education in 2004, I have refined my expertise as an advanced practitioner of precision interlocking techniques, with a strong focus on maintaining the integrity, health, and longevity of textured hair. I am licensed by the State of Illinois in natural hair care, holding both a Hair Braiding License and a Hair Braiding Instructor License, allowing me to both practice and educate within the field. My professional experience includes providing retightening and styling services for performers in high-level production environments, reflecting a standard of professionalism, discretion, and excellence trusted within the industry.
